Since 2004 when founders Rob Webber (retired) and Linda Meyers started their firm in the Weatogue section of Simsbury, thousands of real estate transactions have been completed for new and returning clients and their families, all within a secure and convenient setting. That tradition continues with the addition of Attorney Georgette Sappington and Attorney Stephanie Adams.
To better serve our new and returning clients, Meyers Sappington Law is an approved settlement agent for all lenders and utilizes best practice approaches for all transactions, including partnering with CertifID to provide protection from wire fraud.
We also participate in all employer-sponsored legal service plans such as MetLife/Hyatt, LegalEASE and ARAG. Our staff members live in the same communities that our clients call home and are active in many charitable commitments regarding animal rescue, cancer support, first responders and military personnel by offering local event sponsorships and reduced-cost closing services.

Of Counsel
Attorney Linda B. Meyers is Of Counsel at  Meyers Sappington Law. Her practice focuses on residential real estate and the representation of lenders, buyers and sellers. She was admitted to the Connecticut Bar Association in 1984 and is a member of the New England Land Title Association.
She has worked as an expert witness in numerous court matters regarding title disputes and standards of professional responsibility for real estate practitioners. A frequent guest lecturer on real estate matters and financial literacy, Linda was a member of the Avon Zoning Board of Appeals and an advisory board member for a banking institution.
Linda received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University, where she graduated first in her class with highest honors. She received her law degree from Boston College Law School where she worked as a Case Editor for the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter Digest, a nationally recognized publication.
Linda resides in Avon with her husband Bob and their beloved dog, Maya Moore Meyers.
Managing Member
Attorney Georgette Sappington is the Managing Member of Meyers Sappington Law. Her practice concentration is residential and commercial real estate where she handles all aspects of real estate closings, from contract negotiations, title and finance document review to settlement. She has practiced real estate law for over 25 years throughout Connecticut.
Georgette received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and her law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law. In 1996 she was admitted to the Connecticut Bar Association. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School.
Georgette resides in Avon with her husband Joe and their three children Jack, Brian and Grace, and three fur babies: Henley, Bailey and Piper.
Attorney Stephanie Adams is an Associate Attorney at Meyers Sappington Law. Stephanie is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University and worked in broadcast media prior to attending law school.
Stephanie graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law cum laude. While attending law school, she was an editor on the Quinnipiac Law Review and served as historian of the International Legal Honor Society, Phi Delta Phi.
Stephanie resides in West Hartford and enjoys boating, hiking and traveling.
